In your opinion, how does the health care professional achieve this positive interaction if the professional has negative attitudinal views regarding the diagnosis.

Attitude is very important in perceiving the patient condition and processes. The negative attitude of professionals makes poor communication and inappropriate care of the patient. It affects the therapeutic relationship with the patient and family members. Health professionals cannot make the right judgment in treatment decisions. The negative attitude of health professionals makes the patient get frustrated and irritable.

This can be changed by making health professionals to better understand chronic conditions, disease progress, and prognosis. Educating of professional on health care of chronic conditions and its importance change the attitude of professionals towards the positive changes. Health professionals as a team should approach the patient so that every person in the team can better understand their own role in treatment. Interacting with one another can help to self analyze of their negative behavior. The involvement of family members in care decisions can be obtained by a positive attitude. So approaching the family positively protects the patient and the professionals. Rewarding the professional for their professional behavior and manner improve the interaction with the patient and family members.
