The social sciences have made profound contributions to population health. While the specific theories and methods that each discipline employs vary, the value of the social sciences relates in part to their common focus on identifying and addressing persistent social realities and inequalities, and shared interest in advancing understanding of social forces that shape population health.

The population health approach to migration health is focused on the issue on standardized examination of two key factors that are: (1) sustained stable and disparate health environments and (2) the movement of mixed populations between regions or environment of varied prevalence of key health indicators and potential outcomes.

Behaviour science-

The simplest definition of behavioral science is that it's the study of human behavior. For those of us in the digital marketing profession, behavioral science is the science of predicting the future. Understanding how people have behaved in the past will help us understand how people will behave in the future.

Examples of behavioral sciences include psychology, psychobiology, anthropology, and cognitive science. Generally, behavior science deals primarily with human action and often seeks to generalize about human behavior as it relates to society.

Social science--

Social science is the branch of science devoted to the study of human societies and the relationships among individuals within those societies. The term was formerly used to refer to the field of sociology, the original "science of society",

examples of social science---The social sciences include cultural (or social) anthropology, sociology, social psychology, political science, and economics.

Branches of Social Sciences The generally accepted branches of social science include anthropology, economics, history, political science, psychology and sociology. Anthropology is the study of the development of humans, their nature and their societies.
