Ans. 1) The Data Validation is very important when using a transaction processing system because

a) The data validation is very essential to make ensure that the feed data is correct, error-free and useful to the company. As said “garbage in and garbage out”, so if you feed correct data you will get good result.

b) The running of the data validation on the Transaction Processing System integrates the data with the expected results of the data entry.

c) The other activities attached to the transaction got verified through the data validation process, like sale of goods and inventory account.

d) The validation process is a test of various validity of codes, the values, the customer and other factors.

Thus, a Data Validation is the important and essential to have authentic and correct data in system to have correct results.
