FAT: there are three nutrients in the body and are fats, carbohydrates and proteins. Fats doesnot mix in water, they are not hydrophilic. Carbon and hydrogen atoms combines to make fat . Fats are insoluble in water and gets mix in solvents.

Energy is stored in the body in the form of fat. Fats as a complete energy source for the body. When fat is burned it releases energy which is utilised by the body.they break down into glycerol and fatty acids
