Complimentary and alternative medicines are different techniques and remedies used to treat a disease that are not covered under standard medical practices. These therapies may be given along with the standard treatments or as alternative to the standard treatment.
The use of CAM is gradually increasing due to increased knowledge and awareness about such therapies. Many people are drifting towards CAM due to vast side effects of medicines abd surgucal procedures.
