Exploration in the period of 1418 to 1620 made many changes in the world history..The main reason for this exploration is they desire to find wealthy life and economic improvement, they find the sea route to east Asia..When christopher columbus sailed boat to atlantic ocean,he looked for that route,instead of that he landed in America..columbus thought he reached indies..Europeans they realized they found new world..European nations planed to claim lands in Americas for themselves..They had a motives for exploration to find new trade routes to Asia.They interested in spices from Asia...they felt it will help them to preserve foods during winter and make taste to food..muslims and italians controlled the flow of trades,muslim ruler raised their price for these goods..Explorer due to their knowledge portuges sailors looked for a route and they expect the glory and fame and wealth..Their nations wanted to claim the lands, they spread the christianity..They forced to bring native people into their faith..
Due to new technology and knowledge there was more changes they helped more to navigator..Astrolabe helped sailors to findout the distance to north and south,weapons gave more advantages for exploration..Henry the navigator begin the exploration he focused on west cost of africa..He wanted to crusades against the muslims, find gold and take parts in trade..After claims this land for portugal he sailed east and rounted Africa. Portugal explorer changed european understanding ,from coast of Africa they brought back gold and slaves, they brought back spices ,they killed the muslims defenders they took the spices trade away from muslims,because venice will receive no spices unless her merchants go to buy that in portugal..portugal controls the indian occean and hold muslims and italians on Asian trade,they took more laborer from brazil..
When columbus failed to win portuges support for this idea,he found spain, they thought they were indies,they called them indians..they found the strait of magellan they took the claves..18sailors on board they to navigate the globe..columbus made spanish settlement in the west indies they gained the wealth..They found precious minerals and started sugar plantation..The spainsh sent europe new crops like sweet potatoes and pine apples..priests forced labour to become christian and native people to work as slaves in the mine and plantation..columbus led spanish colonization in the America..millions of Americans died because of european colonization..west Africans suffered more..The age of exploration increased European knowledge in the world and they met the economical needs for their future..
