Political feasibility is a measure of how well a solution to a policy problem, will be accepted by a set of decision maker and also general public. For the implementation of policy, initially the policy has to be accepted. A policy alternative's lack of political feasibility can often be attributed to its lack of political support. The result of controversy surround the issue, that the policy has to be addressed. However the feasibility alone does not make a good policy. Examining all criteria is very important for the implementation of socially responsible policy.

No decisions are ever made without political feasibility. The assessing political feasibility includes collecting necessary information and adequate description of political climate, which is often difficult and so it is getting neglected.
