There is an ethical problem as a healthcare worker when you can not communicate as you should with your patient and have competence to provide necessary treatment. I wanted to be a bit biased and say that someone who is deaf is probably able to be a nurse or someone in healthcare but since language barriers are significant healthcare problems already adding another barrier may not seem ideal to an employer. For the blind, I can't see any way around it because you supposed to be able to see what is going on with them to give an appropriate diagnosis.

Answer #1

In healthcare professionals the three senses like vision, hearing and speaking are very essential because it is necessary to be very cautious and take appropriate timely immediate intervention for patient problems. A delay in care can cost the life of patient. It is an ethical obligation during placement of staff with these defects but it is certainly possible to place a nurse who is dump or deff who can manage and care things under supervision and guidance with the help of technology.Vision impairment is a real challenge because the care starts with observation when this perception is lacking it is nearly impossible to diagnose the patient condition and treat and care them accordingly.

I'm able to pay for it myself. That doesn't matter. It's a matter of social policy, not...
