ANS) - One of the major problem faced by the mental health nurses is,it is very hard to join in the mental health nursing profession and these kind of nurses are not getting enough respect and gratitude from their abilities and the roles.Form the public side also the mental health nurses are not receiving a good approach.Moreover,the nursing career is also seeing the mental health nurses as low grade section.And due to these problems lots of students who likes to work as a mental health nurse are deviating their goals to many other specialties.

But still some of the communities are considering the mental health nursing as a tough and clever work.And these population is aware that lots of mental health nurses responsibilities is concentrated on providing the medication.And not only that,at the time of providing the medication they are also checking that the provided medication is in the patient's chart.These nurses will be getting a small duration of time to communicate with the clients as a counselor and the psychologist and this communication is considered as the soul of the mental health nurses.

These mental health nurses will take a long duration to do the paperwork and providing medications.And one of the another thing about the mental health nurse is,they are not able to take the masters degree in the mental health nursing and if anyone aims to take a masters degree in the mental health nursing are usually pushed to a psychiatric nurse practitioner scheme.And i am really interested to work as a mental health nurse because this nursing section is having its own advantages in a great level and i usually tries to do something different.So i think that through this profession i can do something different.

- The nurse-client relationship is mutual studying practice.This is on the basis of kindness of the nurse and client,mutual consideration and the acquiring of sociocultural dissimilarities.In the nurse-client relationship the nurse utilizes their own values and the clinical expertness in performing with the client to impact awareness and behavioral alteration.And we can say that this nurse-client relationship will provide a confidence to the client and the family that the disease will be curing quickly.

This nurse-client relationship will allows the patients to communicate their problems very easily.This relationship will also give the patient a platform to convey their thoughts and also helps to clarify their doubts about the disease.All the studies has shown that the nurse-patient relationship will really increase the patient outcome.

There increase self- awareness,self-confidence and enhanced self- esteem,the capability to develop intimacy and sincere relationship are the core characteristics of nurse-client relationship.

- For making good relationship with the patients,i am using a variety of methods.They are,

I am showing affinity with the patients and this helps to know about the diseased conditions of the client.So by this i am able to give an extra care for that individual patient.

One another thing that practicing is the healthy communication with the patient and i had realized that the healthy communication with the patient can make a improvement in the patient outcomes.And i also tell the patients to share about their difficulties and which can help to make their mind free.

Approaching the patients as a friend.This include,communicating to the patients about their hobbies,friends and relatives.

Listening to the words of the patients and just try to repeat the words said by them.This will make a understanding in the patient that you are listening to them.

Other than giving sounds like Yes or No,try to shake your head while saying Yes or No.This is a kind of non verbal communication.

So all these above methods can make an improvement in the patient outcome.
