a) Supercritical fluids are substance which behaves as both liquid as well as gas. Just like liquids they have ability to compress and occupy the space of container in which they are placed moreover they have density just like liquids.

b) Supercritical fluids are used in processes such as

Polymerization

Atomisation

Sterilization

Drying etc.

In biomass conversion or biocatalysis use of supercritical fluid makes process greener.

a) Acid is something which has the ability to donate proton whereas base is something which abstract proton.

a) Buffer is a solution which resist any change in pH with the addition of any acid or base in it. Because, it contains both acid as well as basic ions so it has the ability to neutralize the overall effect.
