Answer #1

In non-price competition, a firm competes with other firms in many other ways which are not related to the price of the product. These other forms of competition include differentiation or after-sales service, etc. Microsoft is trying to differentiate its Windows operating system by integrating it with other web browser or media player. This is creating unique value for consumers. So, this is a non-price competition.
