b. Apgar score is a quick non-laboratory assessment that is calculated immediately after birth to know the condition of newborn baby & to asses if there is any emergency medical care needed.

it is normally calculated in a 60-second interval to 5 minutes.

c. APGAR Score 4 - 6 is required minimum resuscitation measure. like oxygen therapy by mask/cannula/tent. In this case, the baby may or may not require ICU.

When the score is below 4 it needed immediate resuscitation with an endotracheal tube or other advanced airway.
