1, Hepatic encephalopathy is a major complication of liver disease. Ammonia plays a vital role in hepatic encephalopathy it causes cerebral edema and neurotransmitter function. protein restriction causes harmful effects. high ammonia level decreases the renal excretion. Low protein diet will not improve liver function or reduce the ammonia level.
2, Jackson-pratt drain medical device closed suction used for the post-operative drain to collect body fluids from the surgery area.
3, Iron has important functions for making red blood cells and to carry oxygen to the body. foods high in iron are shellfish, spinach, liver, organ meats, legumes, red meats, pumpkin seeds, quinoa, turkey, broccoli, tofu, dark chocolate.
4, -Wash the hands after and before all the procedures.
-place a notice on the patient side
- give special foods like neutropenic diet
-Avoid rectal medical procedures
