-- At the first tracheostomy is need to be suctioned and should be cleaned in every 1 to 2 hours intervals.But according to the client after the initial inflammatory response ,the tracheostomy care is only needed to give once or twice a day.
-- The Nurses need to provide a comfort and needed to avoid the displacement of the patient or client.
-- To facilitate healing and prevent skin damage in the place around tracheostomy opening.
-- Introduce yourself to the patient and tell them what kind of care you are going to provide them.
