a) Complementary treatment : it is the treatment along with western medicine, it is used to complement the western medicine( which is the conventional treatment which most doctors practice) the complementary treatment includes the massages etc, alternative treatment: alternative treatment : it is used in place of (alternative to) the western medicine ( conventional treatment). b) CAM therapy( complementary and alternative therapy)the classification of the CAM therapy by national center for complementary and alternative medicine, they are 1) alternative medicinal systems : like homeopathy, naturopathy, and ayurveda.etc. 2) mind body interventions: like meditations, prayer, spiritual healing etc, 3) biologically based therapies: it includes therapy based upon food , vitamins, minerals and dietray supplements that the patient is lacking, etc. 4) manipulative and body based methods: it includes the chiropractic treatments etc. 5) energy therapies : in which the energy is used it is again sub divided a) biofield therapies and b) bioenergetic therapy. 1) in alternative medical system : ayurveda it is the treatment done with the roots and herbs of medicinal value and it is the treatment of the ancient india, 2) mind body interventions: meditation it is the therapy which keeps the mind calm and also helps the improve the mind potential so that it affect the bodily symptoms and diseases and cure it . 3)biological based therapies:dietary supplements the food and nutrients are given to the paitent which the patient is having deficency by which the disease is cured. 4) manipulative and body based methods:chiropractic treatment : in this treatment the practitioner uses hands to cure the pains and discomfort in the patient muscles, bones etc by the massages etc. 5) energy therapies: a)biofield therapy:in this therapy the patient biofield to initiate the healing in patients. b) bioenergetic therapy: it is the therapy by which the therapist uses the bioenergetic fluxes to improve the patient health. 3)c A.) mood disorders is most prevalent mental disorder, and it seen in many forms like unipolar depression , bipolar depression, mania and mixed syndrome etc the ayurveda is used for mood disorders it is works by changing the energies of the mind like increasing calminess and decreasing the stress, and it includes the changes in the sleeping time, wakeup time and eating habits and medicine given is which made of medicinal roots and plants which give balance the negativness and normalize the production of the neurotransmittors, and yogas is also used along with medication to cure the disorder, mostly by using the ayurveda properly there will be no sideeffects but if the precautions are not taken correctly then it results in sideeffects depending on the medicines the patient is given.
