Child's communication considered delayed if they fail to babble some particular sounds like ' mama and Papa' before one year and the child speech and language skills delayed..Toddlers can say about 20words by the time before 18 months old..As a parent they will expect new skills during first three years..During the first 3years children communicate with different type of behaviour, nonverbal behaviour like crying and fussing communication delay due to problems with the way of sound ( articulation) volume or quality of the voice, hearing loss also..

Speech disorders and it's charecteristics:

Speech disorder considered as a child produce sounds incorrectly (articulation)..Flow of speech disturbance in sounds , words when they repeated..Abnormal voice quality to its pitch ,resonance or loudness..problem expressing their needs and ideas and difficult understanding what others say.. speech and language impairment make communication disorders it can affect a child educational performance.. charecteristics of speech disorders like incorrect articulation, difficult making sounds, fluency disorder in rhythm abnormal repetition, tension in the face, voice abnormalities in pitch,endurance, dull sound..

Language disorders refers to impairment in ability to understand or use words.. charecteristics of language disorders is words abnormal and their meanings, inability to express ideas, grammatical pattern problem, vocabulary problem, poor direction for follow-up..these all the elements important for education in school..when these requirements delay child can not concentrate and pickup andacommunicate with each other...it affect their Education..

Treating child's communication problem it involves parents,teachers, audiologist, psychologist, social works, Physicians, counselors.. speech- language pathologist will diagnose and evaluate with team to provide comprehensive language and speech assessment for child . communication theory individual or small group program in classroom or in a consultantation method with teachers and parents.. pathologist will have a academic and social goals..He works as a effective communicator, problem- solvers and decision- makers..He will have a goal like children, memory retraining, cognitive reorganization, language enhancement and efforts to improve abstract Thinking, peer relationships..They help children to overcome with their disabilities, active pride and self-esteem, provide meaningful life..
