You come home early from work and find your daughter and her best friend experimenting with marijuana. Do you ignore the situation and hope that it is a "one-time" trial, or do you confront the girls and discuss the health risks involved? If you chose to confront them, what would you say to them to convince them that marijuana may be harmful to their health? Would you contact the parents of your daughter's friend? If so, how would you explain the situation to them?

Answer #1

No in this case i will not ignore it as this may be the case of the drug abuse and the physiological dependence to them if once ignored the situation.

But also i will not lose my temper in this case.

Hence i will confront the girls and try to be friendly with them and behave like i am the well wisher of them. Then i will discuss regarding the health risks involved with the marijuana. Then will convince them that it is harmful for their health. I will also discuss the career and all.

Then in alone i will contact the parents of my daughter's friend and will make aware them regarding this situation and will advise not to scold the daughter but have a look on such activities in future and will also follow the same so that such activities should not be repeated in the future.
