The most money one can lose when organizing a corporation is his investment in the corporation ie the value of the stock owned by him. The biggest advantage of a corporation is the limited liability it provides for its shareholders. They are not personally liable for the contractual obligations, debts, negligence or wrongful acts of the corporation. The maximum that a shareholder can lose is his investment in the corporation is value of his stock.
