The urinary culture and sensitivity results are as follows: E coli > 100,000 colonies, sensitive to ciprofloxacin, trimethoprim/sulfamethoxazole, and nitrofuradantin.

5. It is possible to develop diarrhea along with UTI with certain strains of E.Coli. The management is similar to that of any other diarrhea- maintain hydration using iv fluids.

6. First of all, the assistant should me made to take all hygienic precautions and made aware of basic safety measures. Only after she/he has followed those norms should he/she be allowed to be responsible for changing Mrs Zippo's urine bag.
