Signs and symptoms of hashimoto's disease : Pale and dry skin, hair loss, fatigue, cold intolerance, constipation, puffy face, brittle nails, weight gain, joint pain, muscle aches, muscle stiffness, depression and menstrual irregularities....

Treatment for hashimoto's disease: If this disease is due to deficiency of thyroid hormones, prescribed treatment is replacement of thyroid hormones. Levothyroxine is like natural thyroid hormones,, it works on our body to alleviate symptoms. However we need to monitor our dosage level periodically to avoid development of toxic effects due to high dosage of thyroid hormones .
