Question
T-test
Unit 85 AS: T-tests In this test you will conduct and interpret T-tests using hypothesis testing and the SPSS progrem. Students will follow the hypothesis testing steps for each probiem. They will compute the problem using the SPSS program. They will write the results in appropriate APA format and interpret the results Steps of hypothesis testing will be typed out in a word document, as well as a copy and paste of the SPSS output For the following problems, you will: Do all steps of hypothesis testing Populations and hypotheses o o Write out the steps you would do to caloulatet o Choose the t-cutoff score o Calculate the t-statistic using the computer program SPSS o Write the t-statistic using proper APA format o Decide whether or not you would reject the null hypothesis Interpret this result Be sure to inckude a copy of the SPSS output in the word document - 1) Single Sampie T-test A researcher would like to study the effect of aicohol on reaction time. It is known that under regular circumstances the dstrbution of reaction times is normal with y - 200. A sample of 10 subjects is obtained. Reaction time is measured for each individual after consumption of alcohol. Their reaction times were: 219, 221, 222, 222, 227, 228, 223, 230, 228, and 232, Use α 0.05. 2i Dependent T-test A researcher is interested in infants attention to their mothers voices The research wants to know if the infants attention increases to the mothers voice after spending the first week of ife with the mother. The researcher selects 10 full-term infants with normal health who experienced uncomplicated deliveries and tested the number of seconds that the infant oriented in the direction of the mothers voice on Day 1 and on Day 7 after delivery. These fictional data appear below. Use an a 0.01 Day 1 Day 2

Chi-Squared In this assignment you will conduct hypothesis testing for Chi-Squared problems for both goodness of fit and independence-you will be given two Chi-Squared problems. For the Chi squared goodness of fit problem you need to: (1) state the populations and hypotheses; (2) solve for a Chi-squared goodness of fit test and show your work; (3) compute the answer using the SPSS program and paste the output information; (4) state the answer using proper APA format; (5) answer the question....

Part II: SPSS Application These questions require the use of SPSS. Remember you must submit all of your work within this word document. You will need to take a screen shot of your data view if necessary, or copy and paste your output into the spaces below. Remember to report the exact p value provided by SPSS output – simply reporting p<.05 or p>.05 is not acceptable (unless SPSS output states p=.000 – in that case you can report p<.001)....

You will need to enter the data, use SPSS to test hypothesis, and write a conclusion for each problem stating weather or not the samples differed significantly. To run all 3 tests, use: ANALYZE, COMPARE MEANS, and then select the type of...
