Recommended dose is 100 to 200mcg/kg.

1mg=1000mg

6mg=6000mcg

1lb=0.45kg

67lb=30.15kg rounding up gives 30kg

One kg when calculated with 200mcg/kg we get 200×30=6000mcg.

Where prescribed is 6mg =6000mcg

Now required dosage(ml) = prescribed dosage/ stock strength ×stock volume

6mg/8mg×1= 0.75ml is given and is safe.
