Data backup means duplicating or making a copy of data files to allow retrieval in case of data loss. We should backup the data everytime we close a programme so that it can be easily be restored to the system in the event anything is destroyed. Medisoft database file contains important information including patient medical history, insurance claims and other related information. sometimes hardisk can fail or be corrupted by virus, or laptop can be stolen or data can simply disappear.In that case all the commercially valuable data will be lost .So in order to save the critical information, database should be backed up everytime it is modified.
