Health informatics is a combination of technology with the health care in acquiring, analysing, interpreting, retrieving the health information and using it for betterment and quality patient care.It includes all the field in heslthcare.It consists of bioinformatics, public health informatics,clinician informatics and avting as a multidisciplinary team.All uses the information technology in healthcare.

Bioinformatics It uses biology, computer science, Information engineering, Mathematics, Statistics to analyse and interpret biological data.
Clinical informatics It is used by and for clinicians. It involves Computer science,Information science, Healthcare management to improve the health of the patient
Public health informatics It uses Information and computer science, technology to improve public health practices .It ised for research and learning
