CPI in the year 2009 is 50 x 3 = 150 for ice cream and 25 x 6 = 150 for pies, total CPI is $300.

CPI of the year 2010 $4 x 50 = 200 and for pie it is 6 x 25 = 150 .Total CPI = 350.

Inflation will be (( 350 -300 ) / 300) x 100 = 16.6%. The answer is "D" none of the above.
