Please answer in SAS: In an effort to link cold environments with hypertension in humans, a preliminary experiment was conducted to investigate the effect of cold on hypertension in rats. Two random samples of 6 rats each were exposed to different environments. One sample of rats were held in a normal environment at 26°C. The other sample was held in a cold 5°C environment. Blood pressures and heart rates were measured for rats for both groups. The blood pressure for the 12 rats are shown in the accompanying table. Do the data provide sufficient evidence to indicate that rats exposed to a 5°C environment have a higher mean blood pressure than rats exposed to a 26°C environment? Test by using α = .05.
Please note that when I post the question, it seems to not line up 26 degrees and 5 degrees. 5 degrees is rats 7-12.
26 degrees 5 degrees
Rat 1: blood pressure 152 Rat 7: blood pressure 384
Rat 2: blood pressure 157 Rat 8: blood pressure 369
Rat 3: blood pressure 179 Rat 9: blood pressure 354
Rat 4: blood pressure 182 Rat 10: blood pressure 375
Rat 5: blood pressure 176 Rat 11: blood pressure 366
Rat 6: blood pressure 149 Rat 12: blood pressure 423

In an effort to link cold environment to an increase in mean blood pressure, two random samples of 5 rats each were exposed to different environments. One sample of rats was held in a normal environment of 26◦C and the other was held aat 15◦C. Blood pressures were measured for rats of both groups after 1 day and are given below: 26◦C BP: 214 194 221 198 212 15◦C BP: 225 215 253 272 254 (a) If the scientists want...

Can you please explain in simple terms the methods of this experiment? I'm having difficulty visualizing and understanding what is being done. I have copied and pasted some of the text from the article. Thank you! Abstract : Obesity, high-fat diets, and subsequent type 2 diabetes (T2DM) are associated with cognitive impairment. Moreover, T2DM increases the risk of Alzheimer's disease (AD) and leads to abnormal elevation of brain beta-amyloid levels, one of the hallmarks of AD. The psychoactive alkaloid caffeine...

The outputted numbers be aligned in a table with 10 numbers per row. Each column in the table should be 5 characters wide. Do not nest a loop inside of another loop. Hint: First create and test the code that output the numbers all on one line (the command line will automatically wrap the output to new...

Exposure to arsenic in drinking water is associated with increased prevalence of diabetes. We previously reported an association of diabetes and urinary concentration of dimethylarsinite (DMAS"), a toxic product of arsenic methylation by arsenic (+ 3 oxidation state) methyltransferase (AS3MT). Here we examine associations between AS3MT polymorphism, arsenic metabolism and diabetes. Fasting blood glucose, oral glucose tolerance and self-reported diagnoses were used to identify diabetic individuals. Inorganic...
