It is important in healthcare because it is providing insurance for older people and people suffering from disability and people with low income who cannot receive care because they don't have any financial status.These programs helped cut half of the poverty because this programs shouldered the cost of care.Many people are able to get care which they can't afford.It is important to fund because many diseases are evolving and the rate of living is also increasing day by day so if the programs are not funded the people may suffer the most because they can't find their hospital cost.

It is a federal government program. Medicaid :- It is a health coverage program which is given to people who have low income. It is both state and federal program. + Medicare is same everywhere in vig, but medicaial vagies from state to state. Medicare coverage is standard but medicaid I coverage varies from state to state. Medicare is divided into Part A,B,C,D. → Medicare Part A and B do not cover dental care but Medicaid cover dental care in some states, → Medicare bcover basic vision test but it medicaid it covers eye exam, glasses etc. > Medicare consists of premiums , annual deductibles but Medicaid is free and some states may change small amount of fees. - They both are established in 1965.
