HEALTH CARE QUALITY MANAGEMENT : Health care quality management is defined as providing effective and consistent treatment to increase patient satisfaction using health care services. It provides quality services to people in all aspects of health.

PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT : Performance management is defined as a systematic process of creating a work which is aimed in achieving goals through effective work, empowering employees, good decision making strategies which are all are important in health care quality management.

In health care quality management it is important to evaluate and compare performance data of health care workers to find out effective outcome results. Evaluating of performance data includes - whether employees are performing well in their own respected work place, clients are receiving health services in a quality way or not, benefits for the employees program has reached out within a given period of time, all the department health services are receiving sufficient health care facilities, maintaining of records and reports of clients, employees allotted work is successful, rate of death and diseased rates are declining by quality health care, whether employees or health care management team members need any training sessions for gaining knowledge and experience. Therefore by evaluating the said performance of health care department it will be easier to focus on the specific areas of lack in health care departments.

On the other hand comparing performance data is also a vital element of health care quality management. Compare the following information like - sufferings of patients has reduced or not, changes in health care from starting to at present, achievement in desired goal is achieved or not, whether disease, death rates, readmission has decreased or increased, effective workers are efficient in working places, comparing to other hospitals what is the current place of the organization in terms of health care facilities. By comparing all of these it become evident that any prompt changes has to be made to improve services.

Poor performance in health care management includes - Increasing of work load on the employees working in the health care organizations, work limitations, missing of ethical standards in working places, unsupervised health care, no particular goals while giving health care services, challenges in technical and professional areas, decrease salary payments, over time working shifts, in proper communication skills, superior qualities when working with other team members. Hence by seeing of all the factors it is evident that poor performance can be seen achieving desired goals in providing qualitative health care services.
