Answer: During pregnancy, the prenatal care is important. The nurse should explain the clients to understand the importance of the prenatal care. The nurse should provide cultural competence environment to the clients to understand their basic needs, understanding level, traditional values etc. This will enable the nurse to remove the barrier of communication as the nurse can easily make them understand the requirements of the prenatal care. The clients may feel comfortable in discussing their problems and hence the nurse can take measures on it.

As, for the healthy child birth, it is important to have plenty of vitamins, nutrients that is required for the fetus to grow and develop. The lack of these may causes increased risk of abnormalities in the birth of child such as poor respit system development, low birth weight etc. The nurse should use effective communication to make them understand the Neccesity of the prenatal care.

The nurse should provide information to the client that the delivery can be take place infront of her friend which is midwife. Because the nurse need to make client understand that the healthcare organizations have better facilities and can easily help to handle the delivery. The nurse can convince the client to make sure that delivery can be handled by well experienced healthcare professionals and the midwife can be present.
