Action of medication- Increases force of contraction of heart muscles by inhibiting the activity of ATPase enzyme that is responsible for controlling movement of calcium, potassium.
Side effects / adverse effects- dizziness, anxiety, headache, rash, weakness, delirum.

Nursing implications- advise patient to avoid taking antidiarrheals for 2 hours on digoxin administration .

Dosage- 2 to 6 mg per kg,

Action of medication- this drug propofol into the GABA receptors and activated advanced GACA binding and opens transmembrane chloride channels that results in cellular hyperpolarization with CNS.
Side effects / adverse effects- ataxia, dizziness, insomnia, anxiety, apnea, hypotension, syncope, nausea, constipation, angioedema
Contraindications- haptic damage, hepatic coma, pregnancy
Nursing implications- patient with history of bleeding should not use this drug
