Methotrexate.

Otrexup,Trexall,Rasuvo,Xatmep.

C. Classification of medication.

Classification of methotrexate -antimetabolites, antineoplastic agent ,immunosuppressant.

D.Dosage ,routes.

Methotrexate can be administered intramuscularly or orally for a 5 day course at the doses of 15 to 30 MG per a day.

The route of Administration is through orally,intramuscularly,intravenously or intra arterially

E)Reason for taking this medication.

Methotrexate can be used to treat various types of cancers and also used to control severe rheumatoid arthritis.

F.Action of medication.

The main action of methotrexate history slow or stop the growth of Cancer cells and it also suppresses the immune system.It helps to reduce the damage when administrated early with people suffering from rheumatoid arthritis from joint damage.

G.side effects.

Side Effects include hair loss, dizziness, headache, diarrhoea,stomach pain, nausea, chills etc.

E.Uses.

Aspirin is used for relieving pain and also used for inflammatory conditions which are resulted from diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis ,systemic lupus and osteoarthritis and it are also used to reduce fever and reduces Stroke in men.

F.Action of medication.

Nursing implication should include monitoring the tolerance to aspirin. If patient suffering from nausea vomitings are intestinal cramps, diarrhoea should be monitored. If childrens who are suffering from diabetes and administrated with aspirin they should check the insulin levels and adjust the doses. When Aspirin is administrated to children they should be closely monitored for fever or illness etc.

Desired outcome.

It is mostly used for pain relief and discomfort.It outcome is good.
