Answer #1

Karl Marx uses examples of the consciousness of human beings in comparison to animals and using their own will for creative tasks. Humans perform activities based on thinking and use of mental processes and . This is distinguishing in humans which are involved in producing for reasons apart from survival which is not in the case of non humans.

According to Marx, capitalism alienates the labour from the results of their own work as they are not involved in planning and benefits from the wealth created by the means of their own labour. Capitalism is able to get more output from the workers and in the process alienates from the production process, other human beings and multiple interests. The labour is not able to determine the product or the processes followed by them and there is commodification of labour as capitalism is aimed for making more and more values from the worker's efforts for profits and in turn are paid wages determined by market rates . The workers gets less satisfaction from the processes and are involved in doing acts for personal survival.

The quotes used by him are important as they reflect the various means and ways in which the workers are alienated from their labour, its benefits , process and other human beings. The quotes also explain the source of the division of the labour and the solution to the capitalism by empowerment and emancipation of workers and eliminating the private property. He spoke about communism, integration of mental and physical work , ownership of the labour and property by the society .
