Skills that should have in every nurse are:-

Communication skills:- this is the basic skill that every nurse posses because patient are already suffering from illness if somebody talk loudly it will harm the patient mood.

Compassion and empathy:- compassion is having concern for one's suffering.

Empathy is the understanding of your patient.

Time management:- as nurses are constantly working and involved in many task at same time so they should manage their task accordingly.

Pay attention to details:- they make critical decision each day that effects people's lives.

Teamwork:- they always work in coordination with other nurse, doctor.

The professional role of a nurse is to advocate the best interest of the patient and maintain the patient dignity along the treatment and care.

Making suggestion in the treatment palne of patient with other healthy professional like doctors.
