Answer: Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) is a kind of structured approach to find out the failures that may exist within the design of a process. These effects are the ways that the failures can lead to increase the adverse outcomes for the patients. This increases the health risk as well as may result into many other problems.

Flu is a communicable disease which means it can be spread from person to person. These viruses that can spread from person to person mainly by droplets, sputum or any body fluids spread in the air when someone infected with the virus coughs or sneezes. Other people inhale the airborne virus and can become infected.

Initial flu failures sometimes may include failure to identify symptoms such as headaches, chills, and a cough. Symptoms such as fever, loss of appetite, and muscle aches soon follow. Other symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, are considered to be a normal cold cough but these symptoms may be of swine flu or H1N1 virus.
