Higher atomic number one gets the first priority.

If the first attached atoms are same then compare the atoms attached to first atom.

Here first atoms of four groups are same.

So now compare the atoms attached to carbon atom.

i) C attached to C,H,H

ii) C attached to C,H,H,

iii) C attached to O,H,H

iv) C attached to F,F,F

Here F has higher atomic number so, -CF3 gets first priority.

O has second highest atomic number, So -CH2OH gets second priority.

In (i) second carbon is attached to Cl, H,H &

In (ii) second carbon is attached to C,H,H

Cl has higher atomic than C

So (I) gets 3rd priority.

Hence correct option is

(d) (iv) > (iii) > (i) > (ii)
