Answer: Obesity is one of the major problem in the world. There are several reasons of obesity. Some of the reasons are:

  • Unhealthy eating
  • Absence of physical exercise
  • Improper nutrients intake.
  • Lack of awareness.

For the evaluation criteria that show be used to analyse public health policy for obesity are:

  • Physical activity as well as health. :Physical activities reduxes the risk of obesity as it decreases the LDL and unwanted fats. Tso this should be one of the criteria that need to analysed for the health policy.
  • Diet: Proper food intake reduces the risk of obesity. Diet includes healthy eating, eliminating consumption of alcohol etc.
  • Public awareness programs: This could increases awareness so that people can adopt better life for themselves.
  • Nutrients and food: Smoking also increases the risk of obesity. So people should eat food rich in nutritional value.
