Answer #1

11. Using the ratio proportional method :-

The number of convertible cars - 7x

The number of non - convertible cars - 18x

Total number of cars in the dealership - 1000

= 7x+ 18x = 1000

= 25x = 1000

x= 1000/25 = 40

So, the number of convertible cars = 7x = 7×40 = 280

And the number of non - convertible cars = 18x = 18× 40 = 720

Now the percentage of the non-convertible cars at the dealership = 720/ 1000 × 100

= 72%
