The numbers: HIV diagnosis

About one by tenth of HIV diagnosis cases in United States, in 2017, were among PWID( People who inject drugs) group. They are one of the most vulnerable population to HIV infection and they include men and women who injects drug, 72% and 28% respectively. Among this PWID group , who diagnose with HIV infection , 1252 MSM( men who have sex with men) people also included. Thus the dependant area of PWID, consist of men and women , who inject drugs, and MSM group,  attributed to 3641 cases out of 38, 739 HIV infection, over all the United States.
