The bands that do not appear in product and belong only to reactants are 3100-3000 and 1680-1620.

On addition of Br2 to 2-pentene, the double bond disappears and one bromine each is attached to the double bonded carbons of 2-pentene.

3100-3000 refers to =C-H stretch and it will disappear in product

1680-1620 refers to -C=C- alkene functional group and this too will disappear in product
