Subject: a promotion offer

Dear Bella,

This is with reference to the recent management position offer at our hospital .The offer is given to a young man with less education, and experience whereas My colleague Melissa is all competent with better education, excellent communication and extensive experience is being rejected the management position. She was at various instances told by hee seniors that she would be the most eligible person to hold the post .We strongly disapprove the decision of the new employee.Melissa feels that it's because of her pregnancy and by the fact of she going on leave after two months she is denied of the post .

According to federal laws of pregnancy Discrimination act of 1978,Family and Medical leave act .it clearly states that a pregnant employee has all rights as a normal employee for remuneration ,promotion .they also have right for leave fair appraisal system. Melissa is an excellent employee she has laid an impeccable performance all through her tenure in the institution so by and large Melissa deserves that position and no employer has a right to deny it .

. kindly look into this matter on urgent notice .

Thanking You

Yours Faithfully

Catherine
