Answer #1

Before signing of the civil rights acts of 1964, The discrimination was taking place based on the  colour, sex, religion, race, nationality, and origin at workplaces in which people were not getting equal opportunities based on their skills and knowledge.

Decrimination was taking place at schools, employment and housing etc.

The civil rights and labour act of 1964 in US ends the separation of people in public workplaces and eliminated discrimination based on their colour, sex, religion, race etc during oppportunities such as housing, employement, schools. Etc.
