The civil rights act of 1964 ends employment discrimination based on race, gender, national origin, color, etc. It also prohibits racism in schools, public accommodations such as parks, restaurants, theater, etc. The law aims to provide equal employment opportunity.

1) The civil rights law is very important as it exposed the nature of racism and distinct discrimination between people. The law successfully puts an end to the segregation. Due to this law, minorities can have their own rights to vote.

2) The law has impacted the workforce in many ways such as there is a reduced in the number of discrimination among employees. This indeed increases the satisfaction of the employees as companies now follow the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission.

3) Yes, it indeed has impacted me in various ways as there is a positive environment in the workplace which no doubt can improve productivity. Besides, the trust and bonding between employees have improved a lot which reduces the chances of turnover.
