More than four decades after the passage of the 1964 Civil Rights Act, many libertarians and conservatives continue to believe that the law is a violation of states’ rights. Do you agree? Why or why not?

No I do not agree. I think that the Civil Rights Act was necessary to make sure that all 50 states were on the same page as far as protecting peoples’ rights go. I think that it should be a federal law and not leave it up to the states.
