Health center's has been developed as a three tier system .

- Sub center

- Primary health center

- Community health center

Sub center has one male and female health provider and it looks after 5000 population in plain area and 3000 population in hilly areas . It refers its patients to primary health center. The care provided is free of cost .

Primary health center has one medical officer ,14 staff members , paramedical staffs . It looks after 30000 population in plain area and 20000 in hilly areas . It refers its patients to community center. The care provided is at low cost .

Community health center is the upper most type of health centre . It is basically the multi-specialty hospital where all lab investigations , surgeries from small to big ones etc are done . Government helps the people to get the treatment by providing estimates of the disease condition . Like for example for acute leukemia the cost of treatment in private hospital is Rs25 lakhs and here in government hospital it will be around Rs150000 and also this money is provided by government as an estimate .
