All hospitals follow certain policy to provide quality care in a effective way.It impacts nursing in areas such as documentation and maintaining patient health records,Entry of new professionals and distribution of work among nurses.

Documentation is the important area where nurses has to do more paperwork.some organization maintain some electronic way of documentation.It is the best way of storing and securing client data.It makes nurses to spend more time with the papers or electronic device because of the policy maintained in the hospital. somehow it becomes as a burden to nurses as it reduce the nurse patient relationship.It limits the traditional nursing practice so now it becomes a s a impact in nursing.

Before the decade, Nurses took major role after the physician.But now many new courses have emerged so new professionals are entering into the health industry.For example , in operation theater,the nurses performed all the work except the work of the surgeon.But now, OT technician,anesthesia technician,Respiratory therapist are present .So the nurses role getting decline.For getting accreditation many organization  recruit specialist in all departments to  show a quality care.Emergence of new policy and professionals impact the scope of nursing.

A nurse duty is to fulfill all the needs of the client.She has to fully take care of the client.But organizational policy splits the work ,it divides the area of work to all nurses.One particular work is given to one nurse.For example, For invasion of IV line,the patient assigned nurse cannot put the venflon.She has to call the IV line nurse she has to come and put the venflon.Likewise for urinary catheter insertion, she has to call the particular nurse and she will put the catheter.Some hospitals maintain policy like these to establish good quality .But it impact the holistic practice of nursing.By this practice the nurse cannot able to fully take incharge over her client and get experience only in particular practice of nursing.
