3) Civil law relates to the disputes between individuals, companies, or between the two, in which compensation is awarded to the victim. On contrary the criminal law that deals with crime and the legal punishment of criminal offenses with a motive of maintaining the stability of the state as well as society by punishing offenders. In civil law, the litigation is filed by the private party who becomes the plaintiff; but criminal law, the litigation is always filed by the government who is known as prosecution.

Examples on civil law include family dispute, rent matters, disputes relating to the sale and so forth. On the other hand, Examples on criminal law stresses includes murder, theft, smuggling, rape, etc.

4) The U.S. Constitution established America's national government and fundamental laws, and protects certain basic rights for its citizens. It is a document that embodies the fundamental principles and laws by which the United States is governed. It's purpose is to establish Justice, provide for the common defense, insure domestic Tranquility, promoting the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves as well our posterity. The Constitution of U.S. is the supreme law of the nation. It protects our freedom thus must be closely followed by us.
