Palliative care is a resource for anyone living with series illness which include cancer, heart disease, dementia, COPD, Parkinson disease and others. This care is helpful at any stage of illness. it can be started along with curative treatment and may begin at the time of diagnosis. When the transition occurs from palliative care to hospice care which means it the doctor believe that the patient cannot live more than 6 months. It is end of life care. Hospice care only taken at the end of the life.

According to Marie Curie, A charity based in UK, terminal illness is understood as a condition where in curative treatment no longer works and death is more likely. End of life care is a very emotionally challenging for the patients,family ,and caregivers, It is highly depend on their cultural, religious and spiritual beliefs. It also seems that ones perception of God may correlate with patients coping mechanism in end of life.

Nothing can be done with those patients only let them die peacefully. This is the motive of so many hospices. It can be provided at any where. All there emotional and spiritual needs met tgere. Hospice care can be given as long as 4th he doctor recertifies that the patient is terminally ill.

The Patients Right Councils Protective Medical Decisions Document (PMDD) form, the PMDDis a protective durable power of attorney from the international task force, Behalf of patients someone else in the family who can trust to make health care decision for the patient. If the patient is not able to make such health decision. It is also known as durable power of attorney for health care. It is not a health living will. It is not only for those who are at very risk or veryold, for those who are more than 18 years or more can be applicable.
