Rate (ml/hr) = Total volume (ml) × drop factor/ time (hr)

= 250 × 20/5 = 1000 ml/hr = 1000/60 = 16.66 ml/min.

If 100 ml left to be given for next 3 hrs.

Rate= 100 × 20/3 × 60= 11.11 ~ 11ml/min

32) Rate= 1000 × 60/ 8 × 60

= 125 ml/min

In last one hour, 450 ml is balanced.

Rate = 450 ×60/ 1 × 60 = 183 ml/ min
