A SAP based ERP system can be selected for implementation in a mid size organisation. This is because SAP ERP has got modules which can handle most business processes such as materials, logistics and maintenance in an efficient manner. Moreover, it can also link with other vendors or customers IT platform in a seamless manner thus making it a suitable choice.

The importance of choosing a suitable ERP tool is very high. It allows efficient management of business processes and also effective resource allocation as well as providing an effective framework for financial accounting and reporting.
