Email to a clasamate regarding to a homework assignment will be of informal type. Where student will not use proper sentences and word during the mail communication. Emails will contain a less detailed information or explanation regarding a homework. This type of informal mails is difficult to understand by everyone. Mails to Classmate may be of normal conversations.

Email to professor:

Email to professor regarding a homework assignment will be of formal type. Where student will mail to professor with correct sentences, word and punctuation during a mail communication. Mails will contain detailed explanation about the subject. Generally these kind of emails are all understood by everyone due to clear sentences and information.
